Up for sale is a extremely clean (like new) 525 golden clays 28 gauge. These guns are pretty rare to see for sale! It has 30” barrels, 5 chokes, different trigger shoes and a array of sight pipe colors. It also has custom leather wrapped recoil pad. Only reason for selling is upgrading to a K20. Price is 3650.00 plus shipping to a ffl of your choice
It’s been unaltered other then the leather cover on the recoil pad. So it’s right At 14 3/4 in the middle trigger position. As for palm swell I’ll take a closer look when I get home I can’t remember right off if there was one or not.
Yes it does have a slight right hand palm swell but has very little cast if any. Here is a pic of the palm swell and cast.
I’ve seen this gun in person.....it’s immaculate! Don’t hesitate to pick up this nice little 28 guage. Good luck with the sale Terry!
I wouldn't say k-20 is upgrade it just cost more money. This is a quality O/U. good luck with the sale.
Hafta disagree re: 525 vs K20 I’ve owned Brownings. I’ve owned Krieghoffs. I believe there is a difference. Here is my K20. Here is my K20
Very nice!!! Amboy.. And I’d have to agree they are all nice guns! It’s all comes down to preference right!!
BTW, what are the dimensions of the stock - DAC AND LOP ? I tried to research Browning info and couldn’t find anything.
No confusion at all if you read the entire thread it’s not mine! Amboy was showing his k20 to jmn for what reason I’m not sure.
Nice thing about a Browning is, they dont need a annual tune up. And you would have to wear out 3 to 4 of them to cover the cost of the K20....which you will never do in a lifetime. Beautiful 28ga 525! good luck with your sale.
I've had customers bring in K-80's that never had an annual service in over 25 years. They still went bang but looked a bit rough.
Sorry I'm so late on this but I'm interested....Just saw this today. Is the golden clays still available?
Hate to further a zombie thread but OP has great taste in guns! 525 Golden Clays is the coolest pattern this side of a Mystic Suhl. Funny how the longer it takes to sell the gun that was gonna cover a new purchase the harder it is to let it go!
Absolutely! They did a knockout job on the engraving pattern of the golden clays. Very tasteful. Yes they are hard to let go until that itch starts back up again. Lol
The ad is over a year old. One of his posts stated I decided to keep it for now! Thanks Flyersarebest Moderator
As the ad stated keep it for now. A year later who knows. I did get a reply and he still wants to keep it. Thanks for the warm welcome to your site.
