Looking for a 1100 rem LT 20 ga release trigger I know it may be impossible but looking for any info that may help. I will buy a pull trigger if available that I can convert. Any help appreciated. George@SJB
FWIW I am in the process of converting a 12 Ga. release trigger to fit my Rem. LT-20. Have been told and confirmed by a well known gunsmith that all I need is a 28 Ga. carrier assembly to install in the 12 Ga. release. Note I said carrier assembly not just the 28 Ga. carrier itself. Presently "waiting on parts".
I don't know the difference between a LT-20 & a standard 20 ga, 1100. If no difference I have a standard 20 ga, 1100 trigger that I might sell. Let me know the difference please. I can post pics.
Sorry 25nout----I don't know the difference The reg 20ga frame was on a reg 12 ga frame I think maybe others on this site can give a better answer
FWIW I have installed 12 Ga. trigger assemblys in a Standard 20 model 1100. That being the 20 ga. gun built on the 12 Ga. receiver. They just drop in with no alteration. Those trigger assemblys will not fit in the LT-20 gun which is built on a 28 Ga. size receiver. The carrier is too wide for that size receiver.
I worked on a LT20 last week and the trigger assembly was same as a12ga but the carrier appeared narrower than a standard 20ga. I believe it’s a 28ga carrier as Cargodog stated.
