Hold On Here. We Were Talking 1978. We Are Not Talking Present Day. My Whole Point Was People Are Not Traveling To Sparta For Several Reasons. My Point With Phantom Was That 1 Year Does Not Make A Trend. I Have Stated More Than Once That I Will Not Shoot In Sparta As Long They Are A Anti Second Amendment State.

 

I was referring to the number of shooters in Event #24 in the year of our Lord 2019

 

I was classified for the 2019 Grand American and never left my house.

As Smitty so aptly points out, the number of shooters classified is not an accurate indicator of anything . . . except how many pins were handed out.

 

The Hard Rock in Hollywood FL is going to have the new hotel/CASINO opening in October. We just received our invitation for a comped suite for 3 nights.

Cost of the new place ?

your card and average sheet. Please let me know if there is another way.

I was classified once in Vandalia from over 500 miles away. Nothing to it if you have friends.

 

'since the pins aren't collectible right? Gee this guy had me fooled at first. I was sure he was a trapshooter. I am guessing he didn't know there are and have been attendance awards. Nah don't matter. You guys just keep believing he shot at that place.

People (shooters ) will not go out of their way to attend a shoot (grand in Sparta, Ill.) when there is another shoot just as good (maybe better) (Cardinal Center , in Ohio) and they do not have to bother with all of the added traveling (cost) and additional preparations ... People say "But there is only one Grand", have you checked lately because the name being whored out as it has been there is a grand some place a lot closer without the additional cost and traveling almost every week end ... There was a time people slept in tents or their cars, pissed behind bushes, washed up in the rest rooms, ate what ever food they could grab during the day so they could shoot (attended ) the Grand when it first got started over 100 years ago ... People have evolved, look around and see the motor homes, campers, and people driving so they do not have to do what the founding fathers of the Sport did to attend ... Wake up man, you might have your eyes open but you sure as hell ain't seeing anything ... You want to go to the grand have a good time, enjoy, there are many others who see the shoots at the Cardinal Center as their grand now and there is nothing you can say that will change that for those people ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

 

Well tell us the secret? I thought the person had to present his/her plastic card and average card in order to be classified. I don't believe you will be classified in NY if you do not show up in person.

Don't know much I see. Please tell all of us how my ATA plastic card also has my photo ID. So you're saying the classifier at Vandalia was supposed to know all 5,000 entries personally-especially since there were at least three classifiers. WOW!

Hey MIKE J. go see the PRESIDENT OF THE RITA and ask him why they are boycotting that shoot.
While you are traveling why don't you stop in a few other states in that area and tell them they are the reason the number for EVENT 24 SUCKS.
