This sure is an interesting time to be a gun and shooting person. I see pictures of people lined up to buy ammo that to me looks like a free cheese line from the 1980's. When a hunter at Thorn Bottom asks if we sell shells they never ask how much, they just want to know how many boxes I'll sell them. My friends, my customers, strangers on the street, and I talk about the prices we see for primers and powder on Gunbroker and marvel about them.

Now instead of shooting We talk about the boxes of ammo we bought and where we got them just like someone telling about a big buck they killed or a big fish they caught and what bait they used. We brag about how many primers we own and what we paid for them, we never talk shooting because we are saving anything ammo related and don't want to waste it. We trade secrets about where we found a box of 9's and don't mean shot size.

I doubt even the kool aid drinkers are even talking 7 1/2's or 8's anymore. (If I could I would insert a graph here and it would look something like this ------------)

Yesterday I scored a couple cases of Trap Loads from Bob Zimmerman's store for $60 a Flat, I traded for some 20ga hunting loads and I put in an order for a pallet of Fiocchi Golden Pheasant's for next hunting season that might come next summer and I didn't ask how much, just how many can I buy and felt honored to know someone who knows someone.

    Welcome to Biden's World.

For the governor. It may be a bad year for any kind of shooting.
