Not good news from the Grand.

Just talked to my shooting buddy for close to 45 years and asked when are you and friend leaving for the Grand? He said after he just got a phone call from one of his friends, ''we canceled out'. Seems that this friend started feeling sick in his motel room near the grand. Got tested and he came back positive for the virus.
So my two buddies canceled their trip. All parties are from Ohio and I don't know his name of the guy who tested positive.
But this should not be a surprise given the location.
If I was there, I'd be getting tested.

Good question, I'll try to pick my friends brain about that. I did just found out that this guy did share a room with another shooter from Ohio who tested negative. They rode together and are riding back home now.

 

Talk about some bad luck. However, I think if I was the passenger, I would have rented a car, and followed him home.

I know someone that left after getting to shoot the 1st day..He arrived while the AIM was going on. I just don't know???

 

Oh Boy, The god darn cry babies are out in full. This is the grand at least their is a Grand. No thanks to the ones who thought SPARTA was the answer. 1st, it WAS the 'grand'. That ceased to exist the year the ata, against the members wishes, moved it to ILLnews.

2nd, you ARE correct that sparta wasn't the answer.

3rd, You are also correct that moving farther away from the eastern shooters is not the answer.
Hey, I know what we can do. If ILLness is too far away from the guys in the East lets move it to MO. it's another 3 hours farther away.

4th, On this site, people can say pretty much anything they want about either that White elephant in ILLnews OR any other place they choose. We don't have Ahole moderators that like to throw their weight around OR a committee of stooges that jump on ANYTHING they feel is anti ata. BTW, They all lurk here so for you booger eating morons? Just a freindly heads up. I wouldn't call any potential buyers of what you want to sell, "whiners" (only one n). It tends to piss people off and they don't buy from people that piss them off. Just sayin....
