Meals registered in Michigan!!! Guns next?

The Governor of Michigan has decided she can require names, addresses, and phone numbers at restaurants and bars. If the government can register your meals and drinks they surely can register your trap guns.

But then again trapshooting has been stopped in Michigan.

 

I’ve only done dine-in once since this went to effect a few weeks ago. The hostess and server at that restaurant suggested but didn’t require us to register our info for “contact tracing.” We didn’t give ours but would’ve left if they’d required it. Not sure if this was just that place’s policy or if that’s how they’re all operating.

What’s more bothersome is that the new orders effective today through December 8 limit people at funerals to a maximum of 25 but “indoor social gatherings” i.e. Thanksgiving dinner next week are limited to “no more than people from two separate households.”

For what it’s worth, small clubs held shoots starting around June. Unfortunately the MTA homegrounds in Mason are basically in the Ingham County Sheriff office’s backyard. Here’s hoping we get the four shoots Mason has planned for 2021...

 

There may actually be five shoots in Mason in 2021. While the MTA Board is still working on it, they are thinking of hosting a Central Zone Shoot
at the end of July. I’m not sure when the MTA last hosted a Central Zone, 2006 or 2007??

They were doing that here too when we had the ability to dine inside the restaurants. Not all of them did that but some were.
Cracker Barrel just wanted a email address in case they had to notify you.
