Should we move the headquarters of the ATA?

I received word from one of our Canadian shooter friends that there could be a hang up with their insurance also, and he nor other shooters probably wouldn't be coming to the states this year.

Perhaps one of the Canadian boys can give us some more info.

My granddaughter is a flight attendant for United and her boyfriend lives in Vancouver BC. She use to fly there every few days. She hasn't seen him since the pandemic started. No one is crossing that border unless they have diplomatic immunity.

The ATA President could fly in. That would mean a two week quarantine on the return trip. He is an attorney I think.

If a Canadian owns property (land and home) in the US, can he come across?

You can fly but in a car really only if you had property then a maybe. If you come back to Canada you have to do the 14 day quarantine and it is really strict with big fines. Paul is a successful laywer I am sure he has no choice right now. They can operate by video chat or whatever.

It depends. I live near the Ontario, Niagara Falls border. I thought the border was closed- not entirely. Trucks - no problem. If you are considered an essential worker- no problem. My wife and I were shopping for a new mattress and the sales person was from Ontario. I asked him how he got across the border and he said it’s not an issue because he’s an essential worker (as a mattress sales person) go figure. If you own a cottage or property in Ontario and want to check it out- no it’s not essential. If the new ATA President can prove its essential he probably will be able to cross. Mike
