Well, I do not know where to begin, have a dog (family pet) that we got at 14 weeks old, great pup, never any trouble, easy to train great personality, loves every body and all other animals, just do not come to the front door then he goes into attack mode ... The dog has had some patches on his skin that appeared to be like the cradle cap kids would get when they are babies but it kept spreading even after the Vet gave me Anti Biotics and thyro medications ... I got disgusted and took the dog for a second opinion, this Vet said he needs a Dermatologist (Doggie Derma Doctor ) , so we goes and they take a bunch of cultures to get to the bottom of all this crap ... My vet said he has Cushings disease, hypothyroidism, and a bacterial skin infection which could be from the thyroid or cushings disease or both ... Does or has anyone had any experience with any of this because its all new to me over the past couple of months ..? Tests and medications to date are a tad over $4,000, I can careless about the money I want the dog right .. . I paid $20 for this guy 6 years ago, putting him down in not an opinion ... Just wondering if anyone had any experience with this stuff so I know what to expect from here forward ...? WPT ... (YAC) ...

Dermatologist Vet (Derma Vet) said to wipe him down 2 or 3 times a day with a Clorox Bleach solution to kill the bacteria ... One tablespoon of bleach (Clorox) in 2 cups of water in a spray bottle , saturate the infected area and wipe, but let the skin remain damp ... It seems to be working ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
