Clays vs Claydot

    Are these two powders similar in regards to pressures in 1 oz loads

    They are somewhat similar ballistically. They do however use different bushings to acquire the same weight drop. 17.6 grns of Clay Dot will from my experience require a bushing or two larger than the Clays to get the same weight.

    Similar, I use Clay Dot almost exclusively. When the powder shortage hit, I just happened to have some Clays and used it. Liked it, used it, but now back to old trusty Clay Dot.
