Due to the lack of Mec bushings in my area, I am looking at ordering the 3-D printed plastic bushing? Has anyone used them? Problems? My biggest Question is static cling that you sometimes get on a plastic funnel? would this be a possible problem with the plastic bushing?

The Ebay 3-D bushing vendor should be able to answer this question. My communications with him concerning another product showed him to be an ethical person who tests his product for function prior to initiating sales. I would contact him via Ebay. Hope this helps.

There are lots of new genuine Mec bushings on ebay for sale from employees who resell them.

Have made two trip up to Recobs for my winter reloading supplies -- Like ever place else supplies are very limited or out all together - Ebay is where I was looking and found the 3-D bushings for $31 for 10 and free shipping -- with other Mec bushings selling for$6.99 up to $12.70 each plus shipping. Just looking for someone that has used them for a unbias opinion.

Save all the trouble of a box full of bushings, and get an adjustable bar. You can fine tune the powder & the shot with one bar. Have three mec 6000 H 's & have been using the adjustable bars for 25 years and love em.

That was my first call out -- Sent me a very nice three paragraph letter -- First paragraph said he had used them with no problems, plus no reports from his customers -- second paragraph explained static electricity can be a problem with plastics? -- Third paragraph said BUT if you do have static problems, wipe with a static cling dryer sheet ?? -- Found some used metal bushings.

After reading your report on the vendor's reply and as you have done, I would stick with OEM metal bushings.

It's something you never wear out and only need to buy once. How many $ do you blow into the air every time you go shooting? What does a 6-pack cost that you piss into the toilet? And why does anyone worry about the cost of a bushing that is so cheap that you cannot even amortize it in any amount more than micromil cents?

I won’t answer for fellow member rrisum but I sure as hell know what I would tell you if it was me you just took a swipe at.

I didn't take a swipe at anyone I simply posted a simple truth. The one time investment is pennies and why sweat over that when it is less than an infinitesimal in the context of shooting expenses for even one day?

I think he WAS serious about finding bushings. Your reply sounded dismissive.

Kinda like if you were selling something on our site and someone thought it was too high.
It would be NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS but they felt compelled to tell you to “get serious”
