In Fl, there seems to be very little shot shells available, also; the people I know who reload are also complaining about the shortage of components

How are things where you live ?

We still have plenty of trap shells around here in Ohio but the rifle and pistol ammo is in short supply. The last time I was at the local pawn store they had rifle primers and some powders but I didn't see any shotgun primers or powder but I didn't ask.

If Trump gets re elected, which I think he will, the ammo crises will go away. If not we probably will be shooting something other than clay birds anyhow.

Reloading components for shotgun are plentiful here. Target ammo got shotgun is also easy to find but pistol and rifle ammo is on the endangered list, soon to be extinct! lol. Prices are steady and not inflated also. In the St. Louis area for me.
I have heard of the Florida shortage but have no idea why that would be the case?

Wally World around here still has plenty of shotshells. Winchester 4 box value packs - $23

Pistol, rifle ammo non-existent. My brother stopped by the house a week or so ago. He purchased a new 9mm S&W, place he purchased it from had the gun but no ammo. He wanted to know if I had any? No - I'm a 45 ACP guy. He went to several other places - Academy, Wally, Rural King - no 9mm ammo. My brother is 70 and this is his first - hand gun. I think a lot of people are just like him - after watching the news last few months - they are out buying guns and ammo for the first time in their life. We've all watched too many people get pulled out of cars, and thugs attacking old people - time to fight back.

There's currently a National shortage on Primers due to increased sales and Remington now being parted out via Bankruptcy. This is also having an effect on Gun Manufacturers, as they're unable to get ammunition to test fire their guns.

Sarasota Trap and Skeet has all you want, limited to 1 jug of powder and 1K primers, no limit on shot or wads.... yet.

Saw a box of 380 for sale at a local gun shop for $750.00. Buy it and get a gun too.

both Eagle and Lawrence, didn't ask the price, just grabbed what I needed for shot and a jug of powder and paid.
Price depends on whether you are a member or not.
