    RARE Configuration- WINCHESTER "ranger" Model 12 3" Chamber Heavy barrel - Highly figured Trap STOCK with Simmons VR 28" Barrel with original STAMPED "WINCHOKE" barrel....with M, L MOD, FULL AND XF CHOKE TUBES. Has CUSTOM 4" barrel extension that threads into winchoke barrel and choke tubes thread into the extension ..... somewhat of a Jug choke system producing shorter shot string. Gun weighs 9.36 Pounds on digital scale. $2300 SHIPPED to FFL.

    Not rare in the least.

    Someone grafted a 120 barrel onto a Model 12 (the 120 being the economy version of the 1200).

    An interesting gunsmithing project as long as it was done professionally and the result is safe, but nothing particularly interesting or valuable.

    Note the partially obliterated "120" stamp on the barrel.

    You may not know... was the barrel originally a Winchester Ranger model 120?

    ? .....I did not own it when it was new and original and the SN is 1959
    I do know it breaks targets in 360* directions with center left all the time with a even high pellet count in 30" circle and has little recoil with 3 dram 1 1/8 oz loads
    33grs Longshot, Windjammer wad, 1 1/8th oz #7 1/2s from fence are great too for "fence" shooting.

    So that baby will hit stuff at all points of the compass? Including fences?
