Well, it looks like Tacoma, will be a gun store free zone in the near future--Tacoma wants to place a $25.00 tax on all gun sales and 5 cent per round tax on all ammo over 22 cal.

Only thing this will accomplish is to, put small gun shops out of business

Maybe the US military should pull out of the Tacoma-- they have lots of guns and ammo-

How can these people be so stupid? Self protection is a constitusional right. What makes them think they can over ride a part of it? They are the ones that will cry the loudest when they are getting oppressed by their socialistic stupidity.

Wonder how much of that Tax will be funneled to the Street People?
    (if you have that problem).
Tent cities popping up on public streets everywhere. Mostly deadbeats or junkies.
Oh I forgot, it's Global Warming.

    Regards....Gerald

It will accomplish exactly what they want. No more guns or ammo sales in their city without making any laws banning them. It will not generate more tax revenue & they know that too. Shops will close up, revenues will actually drop as these sales and their tax will cease to exist. Then they will raise taxes or create new taxes to fill the void. This has been done in other cities already & what I described is what has occurred. Washington like California is a liberals paradise. I think Chicago has enacted some similar tax or is about to.

There must be enough idiots there to keep them in power, maybe all the sane people should relocate to a place where common sense is a virtue. When they run out of tax money they will have to wise up. Roger C.

This makes a lot of sense because now criminals are less Likely to go into a store there and buy a gun. Wait, . . . They can't do that now. Oh. Good new law.

Just like drugs -guns are sold on almost every street corner in the inner cities-and the gov't doesn't get a penny of tax--Vat Schmucks, must live in Tacoma--all the gang bangers must be very proud of saying--wow-I got my gun tax free

I have a buddy who is a regular poster on here, and he had enough of his ANTI GUN state and up and moved out this month.

I moved from NY State and that Damned Fool Cuomo, and I do not have one regret either.

By the way, his S A F E act doesn't work worth a damned either.

Couldn't imagine how many years in the lock up I would face in Ca, NY & or NJ--got an FN-57 with 30 rd mags, hollow point ammo in 45 & 9mm, a M1 Garand & Carbine--in Fl I'm an OK citizen in those other sates I'm a criminal

Hope Trump gets concealed carry nationwide, just like our drivers licenses

I moved out of NY a little over 3 years ago. Don't miss hardly anything about it.

Don't the powers to be realize people will go out of the city and buy their guns and ammo. Nothing will change except less tax revenue.

Tacoma sounds like the kind of place the ATA would move the grand to.

The mom-and-pop gun stores will move out of the city limits. The unintended consequences of this is that the city of Tacoma will simply loose a little revenue and acquire a few empty storefronts. Typical liberal-think, but life goes on.
