If you can post a picture of the breech face it might answer the question.

The picture is not really that clear. I THINK
( memory?) the updated guns had 2 hex head screws at the bottom of the face. I'm sure there is someone that can correct me. I believe Laib's had 3 things they could do to update. I didn't see a website with a list but you could call and see what it would cost and that would let you know how much a potential buyer would have to spend. I shot a few great scores with mine and the mechanical triggers were tough to beat.

Not to be a pain in the..., just trying to help, but if you can show any potential buyer a good clear bright pic of the inside of the receiver at the breach face low near the bottom it will show if the updates have been done. I know if they were done by the factory there was a small dot stamped in the serial number. It doesn't look like there is one on this gun but that could just be the light in the picture.

 

There are no dot between the O/U & SN, also there are no two hex head at the bottom of the breech face, what people say is that the gun hasn't been upgrade. Pople say they shot these gun for years with no issue. And you are not

That's a good picture. The info you have been given is correct, no updates.

I sold my 1978 updated model years ago but still have a 98% Standard Trap that has not been updated. I don't shoot it but it isn't because I haven't had it done.
