3 Motels in the works across from the Cardinal Center

We have confirmed that three motels will be put up soon within walking distance of the Cardinal Center.

They going to have them open for the SCTP Nationals next month?

 

Merlo you certainly have the place wrong. I remember Greentitian and Hunter44', among others, assuring us that new motels would be built around the World Shooting Center. You can't possibly mean the Cardinal Center has stolen them too, I thought the SCTP Nationals was it. Brad

 

They are still working on the infrastructure in and about the place in Sparta, they ask that everyone Please be patient even Rome was not built in a day ... Its only been going on 12 years , can't be done over night you know ..? The State of Illinois turned down the Sate of Illinois for a loan, said they will need a strong co/signer ... WPT ... I'd heard it was a sports complex going in on the 250 acres in front of the trap line, not motels.

 

I spotted a weed in one of the pictures, who do they think would shoot in a place with a weed growing right there were it can be seen in one of the pictures ..? The weeds in some places get strategically placed to keep the workers working but not be noticed in pictures next to the road that needs repair ... That I have come to find out is a catch pool for rain water to get trapped in to be used to water the weeds at a later date ... They think of everything , don't they ..? WPT ... (YAC) ...

 

Keep up WPT, the thread is about alleged new motels being built at the Cardinal Center,
not about the WSRC.

 

Win101 Both, I've heard the shot curtains are to hide the Skeet Shooters from the public's eye, but that might just be the ranting of some old old trap shooter. . Brad

The talk was all about how things will be in the area for shooters that attend the grand way back before they held the first folly at the WSRC ... There were others who were a lot more realistic that were talking about sleeping in tents, cars and doing their business behind the bushes like they had to do in Vandalia when back when it all got started ... Personally, I don't care if they change anything about the place in Illinois, there is nothing there for the majority of shooters and I just happen to be in that Majority ... I do on the other hand have the Cardinal Center on my bucket list and will sleep in the car, tent, and do my business in the bushes if I have to, to get there or I will just take the Motor home and make it easier on my dog and the bushes ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

I believe we all know how you and the majority of posters feel about the ATA and the WSRC.
You let us know on every thread every chance you get.

Please in all your infinite wisdom show me where I said anything about the ATA when addressing this thread ... I honestly do not mind if you quote me being as I never say anything to or about anything or anyone that I would not say to a persons face if and or when given the opportunity, nor would I ever not voice my opinion though some may like it and other probably won't ... Obviously you are not like some of the others on this site that have the uncanny ability to read between the lines or see words in a statement that are actually not there.
The you I was referring to was not just you personally but you and the others in general.
The reference to the ATA was also in general because it or the WSRC eventually comes up and effectively kills a thread that most generally wasn't going anywhere anyway.
I apologize if I confused you.

I may be old (getting old any way), but do not confuse nor am I easy to confuse yet .... You obviously feel everything is alright and if that's how you feel you are entitled to feel that way ... Some others may not get a warm fuzzy feeling unless they pee all over them self ...
