Shoot some Trap and Drink Moonshine

Your welcome May 22-23-24 New Straitsville Ohio Moonshine festival, These southern boys are now offering flavored Moonshine, Apple Cinnamon, Peach, Cherry to name a few. The moonshine is free as they cannot sell it. The good ole boys are real good Trapshooters too.

 

We got shooters coming from WVA every Thursday and Friday, as well as all over southern, Ohio.
They love the competition and 3 man buddies, Annie Oakleys & 5 From the pole @ Charlies, and Athens have a 70 yard Long Bird
It was broke last Thursday.

A moonshine sippin-trap shootin weekend.

 

Sounds like a bunch of hillbilly rednecks to me.

 

Those southern folk are like a lot of the rest of Ohio and PA. Nudie is ignorant of the fact that Ohio and PA are full of weekend shooters that were once called weekend warriors. Or for now lets use the term hillbilly shooters. That would make Nudie feel good.

They were kicked to the curb by the greedy that wanted what Vandalia had. They forgot that was what made Vandalia great.

Those weekend warriors shot cheap guns and only shot on the weekends. They slept in their cars at the Grand and took home a lot of money. Some of those weekend warriors now flock to the Cardinal Center where motels are cheap. They can sleep in their cars under a shade tree. The CC is within driving distance. They can get home for work on Monday. It is a dream for the weekend warriors....those nudie would call hillbillies.

Nudie wouldn't care. The EC and BOD didn't care. The weekend warriors don't care because they have a grand and they don't have to drive to Sparta.

 

FG, I have always heard of Ohioans referred to as Buckeyes. Your post above makes it more believable. Buckeye=worthless nut. And, yes, I graduated from Antioch College.

 

If Brad gets on I hope he can talk a little about one the more famous week end warriors from Ohio. Terry Zaplata.

Nudie if you get the chance drop by the CC and shoot against some of those weekend warriors. Big Don had problems with one.

 

Checked on the Moonshine sippin trapshooting weekend. The Moonshine Festival runs into the Buckeye Classic. Would make for a fun week.
