I just scanned their web site and didn't see any information other than upcoming Registered shoots. Must be they came to an agreement with the ATA. Ron B. may have more info for us.
Didn't the ATA big heads accuse someone(s) of scores without paper? I read Sarasota was protesting but this has a familiar ring. Did any of the shooter's with questioned scores win any monies at the grand or state shoots? Need more info!
The question then is who blinked and why? False scores and all is well? Hmmmm. This story does have a familiar note? So it is good news as Ron says?
They have a great club over in Sarasota. VERY nice facility with lots of future improvements planned. Ron B. is proud of his Winter Club, and one bad apple who messed up, should not be a reflection on the whole club... I agree that the questionable scores should be looked at, but reputable shooters would have them corrected. Good luck to Sarasota..
I believe the ATA shooting events are being handled by Mr Mike Boyle and the Najar Twins with additional help from the members and the Board of Directors of Sarasota Trap & Skeet. Ron Burdick
Sarasota should be very happy to have Ron Burdick as a winter member. I witnessed first hand what he had done for the Mt. Morris Club back in NY, and then how he helped the Spartenburg, South Carolina club with the preparations for their shoots. Ron is a hard and dedicated worker, who is welcomed at all clubs.
