Who all got a mega nice firearm at the expense of the ATA membership? A gun determined by the Illinois Attorney General is against the ATA by-laws. I am calling on the inspector.
I have been informed by the inspector that ex President Jim Bradford may have received a gun. This was prior to him having been afforded the option of voting himself into the ATA Hall of Fame.
I always wondered if any of these guys, just for a second or two, thought, Wow, is this really legal? Just that little twinge of guilt right before they put their hands on it and got the big sh&* eating grin on their faces.
Ha Ha ....Bradford's resume is far bigger. You Ohio dudes forget he was a major factor in the move from Vandalia and the $2,000,000.00 HOF pole building they can never own. He deserves a gun.
I was told, (do not know for sure) that Neil made them issue a 1099 on the gun he got , so he obviously would of claimed it as income ..??? Only Neil Winston knows for sure ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
I would not be surprised if Neil was the only person that paid for at least part of his gun. Still hard to tell. I would like to hear who else got guns.
All us Ohioans know Acklin got a gun. You dont have to be a sleuth to figure that one. Heard his had some extra bling on that one. Lots of bling! Did they find that gun yet?
I know that Ted McHugh sports a beautiful gun around with a badge that tells everyone he was the 1987 (I believe '87) ATA President. 29 years ago... Now whether this was a gift to him from the ATA or not, I do not know.... All I know is it is beautiful.
