Winchester SX-1 Release Trigger-Who Made it? sx1

This one sure confused a person who thinks he knows all about SX-1 releases. It sure looks like a Hoblit but is stamped with the initials HEB. One of the nicest releases I've ever stumbled on and I've 6 SX-1 releases including two Hoblits. 783 must have been the date it was made!

 

Hoblit, Emerson B?

 

Emerson's middle initial is "G"!

I'd say Jhunts is absolutely correct. A bit more research on my part might have gotten the same results. It is one fine release. Well done and thanks Jhunts!

 

Ollie,I've got a sx1 release that way built from a guy in PA that you know. I can't remember the 3 initials that are stamped on the hook. I'll trade it too you for your trigger.

 

Your trigger was made by the late Lew Waltersdorf of Quakertown PA. I just included one of his triggers with a recent SX-1 sale. I like mine because I can set it with the gun open-not one of Lew's. Sorry-no deal!
