OK EC BOD & Directors whats the result of the Winter Meeting

Let's see how transparent the ATA is with the membership, what were the key points of the meeting.
And what were the results?

In other words in simple English, " What was accmplished"?

As I was told to me in the past.......

"The regular membership will be told on a need to know basis".

 

If anyone can get Trap wife to respond , she probably has all of the inside information even though she does not show up as a member of the ATA ... She did say one time, its not who you know but who you are that really matters so based on that she would probably know ... The ATA is about as transparent as a sheet of lead 3 inches thick, on a need to know basis might get them in more trouble than they bargained for at some time in the future ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

 

Maybe in Ohio that's plain English, not so much everywhere else.

 

I doubt Trapwife was invited, and she would not make the drive to Illinois.

Well Greta, if you are really interested in who is on the ATA EC, you could go to: shootata.com - and hit the contact link. They are all there. Not really a very guarded secret by any means, unless you are too lazy to look.

You did not inconvenience anyone. That is why we have a forum. Asking questions and giving answers was previously taboo and considered bashing. On another site we would have been reported to a mod and removed.

 

FG, is the BOD just all the delegates? Is that how it works?

 

Yes.........And you will see that if you put all the shooters together that shot in the state shoots represented by the EC you could not put together a large handicap event.

 

I followed the directions and now I know what I wanted to know. I have
Known several of the e.c. Members for many years and will
Ask them directly any information I am interested in.

If you are not on the "Need to Know " list you will probably not get much information which is pretty much how its been for the past several years ... People talked about how secret the Masons are they are nothing compared to the EC, ED, and some of the BOD ...They know where you are if and when they want donations or money to pay off things for the State (EX: HOF building) of Confusion (Illinois) ... The only dumb questions are the ones that do not get asked if you do not know ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

 

The results of the Winter Meeting should now be posted on the ATA Website, for all to see, who did what, who 2nded, and what the results were in all conversations.

I asked questions years ago and got no information.
That 's why I resented the good old boys network.
I saw many wrong acts, and have never shut my big mouth reminding
Some people about what infuriated me.
I heard someone talk about raising shooting prices. I answered that
It is hard to get three (3) people to shoot a big 50 .
The only shoots that are healthy are the big point shoots.
All it seems is needed are $$$$$$$. I worked hard all my life and
