All those states at the bottom of the list like Mississippi and lower that have 1/3 of one percent have the same vote as Pennsylvania. If you added all the states that have a vice president you could not come up with a big shoot.

Alaska has the same vote as Ohio. Rhode Island and Hawaii combined have 1/3 of one percent and out vote the biggest states. The is great for Porter and Kiner. Both have failed to lead the ATA or their own state to successful numbers.

 

FG, and that equates to equal representation for each area of the country.

Kinda like if the East Coast and the West Coast got all the votes in Congress due to their higher population where would the shooting sports be with their gun bans?

Ohio didn't do very well when their man in the ATA refused to look at property for the Grand did they? And the difference is?

 

No the most unequal per person. Much like the senate but the House is called the house of the people. Leonidas always has problems understanding this.

A voter in Hawaii is 40 times more represented than a shooter from PA.

No more like Mississippi and the states without trapshooters wanting easier targets and instant yardage since they cant find 25 shooters. And yes that passed.

 

The op was not about Ohio but like your avatar shows you hate it. Ohio has 3 of the top 5 shoots. Successful and we know that angers you as well. PA has one of the other top 5.

Leonidas.....tell us how your marketing plan is doing in your state.

 

I think this was posted once before and someone disputed the position of Illinois because the targets from the grand were not added into the totals which would give them considerably more targets than shown ... If the attendance continues to fall off as it has since the relocation to Sparta, Ill and all of the shooters from Sparta get off the kool aid that will change in a hurry ... If you add them in, I think Illinois would be number 2 in the over all standings ... I was talking to one of the shooters who has attended the grand for many years, he said they can draw more Bugs than shooters from what he could see ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

 

Funny thread especially with the recent posts that OH is not so thrilled about having corrupt ATA officials visiting their venues.

339 total shooters in the handicap event. That includes a large amount of out of state shooters. Great by Nebraska standards I suppose. A preliminary shoot at best for PA or OH.

Is this the new tactic showing the hatred of all shooting venues other than Ohio and Pa? Making fun of all other shoots.

I don't think we had a prelim event that small. 1260 shooters in our handicap event but not nearly a big one for us.

6th grade math aint easy but I gave it a try. All 5 vps, RI, MT, NC, AB, NE vp's combined total around 5.9%.

Adding up the shooters at their state hdcp shoot as ref above would be less than 600. That is counting in state shooters. But I was using a Walmart calculator.

You may want to look at the world from Leonidas' point of view. Could be someone from the Cardinal Center or Ohio gave the poor guy an atomic wedgie.
