Wanted: Americase key

There are more than one key pattern.

Take to locksmith shop as they are a standard luggage key.

You can call Americase and they will send you several for free.

 

As far as I know Americase is out of business.......at least not making gun cases.......I'll give it a try.

99% chance it's a Franzen 1400, they're available on ebay. There is at least one non-1400 latch through, I came across a huge safari case at a gun shop one time that didn't have any keys, I tried the 1400 I have on my keychain and it didn't work (I was going to give it to the shop owner to include with the case as I had spares).

Did a quick look and the other one may be the 1407, that's the only other Franzen key I found. But like I said, it's probably a 1400.

 

There's no model number on the latch.......there is a patent number PAT. 3,584,906
