2024 SCTP over 4,000 participants & 12,000 entries at Cardinal Center

The numbers in the title are right. There were over 4,000 participants and 12,000 entries.

I have been told only 1 of 6 shooters in the SCTP actually go to the Nationals. I encourage parents to get their children involved.

 

Our kids love the Cardinal Center. Much easier to handle and haul a van full of teens north of Columbus. Back and forth at Sparta isnt fun.

 

why not get the parents involved too?

 

As you pull into the Cardinal Center during the National Shoot, you see tailgating and tents up at the first trap all the way to bank 12 at the other end. There are family members everywhere. I would guess there are 2-3 adults there for every kid.

I would guess there is two to three times more people at the CC during the SCTP shoot than were at Vandalia.

 

I guess what I meant to say is....why not get the parents (shooting) too, not just promoting the kids to shoot.

 

My kids love the cardinal center very much!
