The numbers for the Buckeye were not amazing. The event drew 950 participants and its big singles event had 750 shooters. By Ohio standards this was not great but much better than the US Open held on the same date.

Looking at the US Open it had 3,176 Event entries vs Buckeye 3,299 event entries. That is a difference of 123 entries. The US Open did have 13 events compared to the 12 of the Buckeye. What was the weather like? I am surprised that their were no 200's at the Buckeye, lots of great shooters at both events.

    Brad….

The WSRC needed another event to still fall short? So they needed at least two more events to keep up with the Cardinal. Rain was heavy at the CC.

You have to almost chuckle that the WSRC only attracted 750 shooters. The CC had 950. And the US Open is an ATA Event. It is not an Illinois event.

The Illinois shooters don’t even support the joint.

Brad…..maybe you aren’t cut out for this.

Apparently so. With all the great shooters at the Buckeye I figured the scores would be higher, since the ata throws easy non 3 hole targets nowadays.

Sparta employed Brad and Biden employed KJP have the same type of job.

Here’s a free one for you Brad. Every time that place you work has to post the abysmal numbers after a shoot, ESPECIALLY after that little shoot they have in August, you can use this as your background.

There was also another major shoot in Vernal Utah that week.

Also 3 state shoots, pretty much spreads the shooters out.

The number of shoots isn't the problem, the number of shooters is.

Only so many shooters to go around.

One local club has cut back weekly shooting days from four days to two days due to a lack of targets available from White Flyer.

This is a sign of what is to come.

When you lose shooters at the local level you will surely lose shooters at the large venues.

With the cost of everything a lot of folks are cutting back. When money is tight the 1st thing to go is the hobby.
