The US Open seems to have crashed with only 342 participants in the big handicap event. Total participants registered for the week was 731.

18 shooters less than the pervious year. More of a slow decline than a crash. Buckeye had 112 less.

The 750 Ohio had in the singles isn’t too impressive by OH standards. That’s as many shooters in one event as the Open had for the week.

OH shooters must be spending more of their handicap monies at the local non ATA Calcuttas.

437 Illinois shooters? Is that Brad’s fault?

The WSRC crash is overall. As soon as they opened the joint. Jmho

He was around, don't know if he shot. That's kind of off topic though.

Not that it matters in the least, but I’m wondering where WSRC Brad gets the 740 number from? I see 750 on RJStuart. The ATA was intentionally trying to hurt attendance at the Buckeye by scheduling the same week. Both shoots suffer, it’s too bad.

Trapshooting in general is in a huge decline! No gamblers, no money, etc etc
Us old timers shot to win and actually win something not the china made trinkets that most are handing out

What, no 200's on those fluffy Ohio targets. PA should have tremendously increased attendance next week since our targets are much harder. I remember the time when multiple 200's were broken on the same squad in PA but now we might get one. Anyone have the answer for higher scoring and increased attendance at both places?
BTW, the ATA killed attendance at small clubs and now they're splitting attendance at large clubs. Am I supposed to find some pity?
