Attitude Adjustment Bureau

It's rumored there's been an Attitude Adjustment Bureau formed to combat the erroneous thinking of those opposed to the flat earth society. Currently the Bureau is appointing members who, due to the secrecy surrounding the operation, are unaware they've been appointed. They'll be rounded up in a couple white vans and transported to the secret training site (HOF building) for an intense 90 minute indoctrination. Once indoctrinated, they'll scour Ohio and Eastern Pennsylvania looking for designated individuals of interest. Individuals who appear happy to contradict the thinking of the current leaders. You bad guys out there better hunker down and stay inside. If you live in Brads, Flyers or Family Guys neighborhood consider moving until things quiet down.

If they're able to locate and capture one of you guys you'll probably be transported to Sparta for a tour of the WSC and the surrounding area. Then the indoctrination will continue until you admit to your wrong headed thinking. When you're released back into the shooting society you'll probably think Sparta and the WSC should be known as the center of the shooting universe. You'll probably try to purchase property in Sparta and soon thereafter you'll have a great desire to wear women's clothing and drink tea with the flat earthers while discussing the terrible undesirable trapshooters living in the uncivilized surrounding states. Stay vigilant and watch for white vans that seem to be driven by special individuals perhaps a tad challenged. Roger and WPT don't need to be worried as Arizona is a little to far for the flat earthers to travel and they would find western customs such as women, whiskey and beer undesirable.

 

I for one am not going to worry about every plain white van I see.

I don't think ANY of you guys have anything to worry about. They are only looking for ATA trapshooters whose minds have been poisoned by infidels with their Kool-Aid.

Flat-earthers, "those who seem unwilling or unable to understand a remote location catering to the motorhome crowd will never be successful. They have the Sparta attendance for the ten years of operation and still believe things are fine. Now with the continuing drama I think if Sparta does hold another Grand it will be much smaller.

5 minutes? Maybe you can enlighten me as to who ever said 5 minutes except you. Honestly, with all the that has gone on in the last couple months if they do have the Grand again in Sparta they will be hard pressed to get 70% of this years attendance. The Grand has become so small it could be held in a number of places, all with hotels, motels, restaurants and relative civilization within 10 to 20 minutes from the club. Sparta has had ten years. It didn't work. Nice facility, wrong location. I think there's a wonderful airport not to far away that the government expected to be a boon for all but that didn't work either, bad location.

 

If a 60-75 minute drive to nearest airport is too far and site is out in the middle of nowhere, I figured a 5 minute drive might be less burden for those distressed by the longer drive. More important. I am trying to find out if there are any idyllic locations that are everything Sparta is not. Can we reclaim and service the OP-PA shooting population so we can bury this once and for all and move on to growing our sport.

I figured with the biggest share of the shooting population of 10 percent in Ohio also having the greatest intellect of the entire membership would by now have shown the rest of us fools how it should be. You can reverse the decline in numbers and get the Grand to be grand again. Okay Sparta failed, what do you have to replace it? Can you get Vandaila reopened? Something better than either? What have you been doing in the last 10 years, other than boycotting Sparta, pushing for the decline?

 

If you want the sport to grow just offer to pay for all your kids and grand kids shooting expenses for the next 5 years-or at least invite them to come along. Encourage your shooting friends to do the same. See how easy that was!

My parents never paid a dime for my trapshooting, in fact I did not discover it until I was in my 20's, long gone from my parents and none of my friends guided me to it either. The easy fix we have been told to increase the membership and attendence of the Grand is to return it to Ohio. You may never get a second chance or better one than the one you have now. Go for it, or perhaps abandon the ATA and start a new trapshooting orgainzation based on Ohio again. You do not need ATA.

 

I obviously missed something, never saw anything buy anyone who said the easy fix would be to move back to Ohio or anything about a 5 minute drive to any place as a commute ... Its one thing to make statements but at least try and keep them close to accurate for people so they do not become rumors and get blown out of proportion ... I never saw anybody say anything about abandoning the ATA, (did hear about another Association some time ago) though many have said the ATA needs to take out the trash and get to fixin things that are not right and get it back on track ... The ATA exaggerated numbers to the State of Illinois and it exploded in their face ... Azco is exaggerating, expanding, and eliminating things they were and were not said to fit into what he see's about how things have gone over the past 10/15 years ... If accuracy was depending on him and they were targets, there would be none of them hit ... I have talked to many people who post on this site and requested they type slow so Azco trap can keep up, obviously that is not doing any good ... Sometimes, I think we might just as well talk to the toaster ... AZCO Trap for delegate and or EC, you'll fit right in ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

 

Oh come now WPT you are being dishonest, again. In all the hundreds of posts you have made here and elsewhere, it is the constant diatribe that ATA has foundered because it moved out of Ohio to a gun unfriendly State, located in the middle of nowhere, without amenities.

Again, why the constant 24/7/365 dwelling on the past? Do you want to fix the mistake or go on boring people with your constant complaining about Sparta for another 10, 20 or 30 years from now?

The only logical conclusion a rational person can make after all that is posted here is to move the ATA back to Ohio and hold the Grand 5 minutes from the nearest large city with a national or international airport. And now you are saying that is all BS? Better be careful, your ration of Kool-Aid will be tripled and fed through your veins if you do not watch your words.

I have yet to see a person from OH, PA or anyone in that area jumping up and down saying they need the ATA for success at the CC or anywhere in that area.

The shooters in the trapshooting Mecca states have not been boycotting Sparta. By shooting at their local venues, arguably better venues, they have been supporting the mistake in Illinois.

And to go further....they have not been boycotting their state shoot unlike AZCO.

 

Poor AZCOTRAP, all alone, never had a wife to introduce to Trap, no children, or never a grand child interested either. Or maybe just one of those selfish or insecure individuals unwilling to finance a family of new ATA members. He's among many!

You are using the excuse that young kids must be introduced to the sport to keep it alive. That is BS. I have introduced many people to trap including family members, but they find it boring or too expensive. You have to be some kind of whack job to think that every human being on earth is interested in a "dying sport." Not everybody wants to do the same thing. Some people like skating, cars, horses, travel, knitting and BSing which is your speciality.

Since it is evident you are dumber than a box of rocks, I will attempt to explain to you boycotting a State shoot means the intentional and deliberate act of not going to the shoot under protest. That was not the case this year as I have told you more than once, it was mostly a health issue combined with some transportation and other minor issues....I guess you would call it priorities of life. If you really had a family, no one would have to explain that to you. I think the only reason you keep bringing it up is your are at a loss to come up with a better excuse to prove your point.....whatever the hell it is, sure beats me trying to figure it out.

Sometimes people miss big shoots for the lack of money, health, jobs and other reasons. Not everyone is as blenssed as you not to have other priorities that allow you to spend as much time as you want trapshooting, but since you are biased and not an understanding being, that will be forever lost on you.

 

Who boycotted Sparta? I have a better place to shoot. The CC was throwing targets first, Why leave?

Sparta failed because it is Sparta.

 

I suppose you've answered your own question why Sparta is such a failure. According to you Trapshooting is both boring and expensive so why should anyone shoot at Sparta for the same reasons. With your attitude it's no wonder whoever went to a shoot with you came back disillusioned. Of course, if you paid the freight for those less fortunate family members they might have learned it's actually fun. You poor soul!

If what you say is factual, copy and paste it or you are the one who is being dishonest, (grossly dishonest) ... The ATA was "Floundering" (not foundering) in Ohio 5 years before the move to Sparta, Ill which is in the middle of nowhere, without amenities ... The only way you can fix a mistake to is admit a mistake has been made and that has never happened to date, at least not to the members who are the support of the ATA ... You are exaggerating again, but so be it ... It the Mods on any site held you to what you say, you would be banned or on "Triple Secret Probation" until you do it one more time, then "ADIOS" ... Ollieoleodog, I never said trapshooting was boring (expect dealing with the likes of you) and too expensive for myself. I said other people have told me that for reasons they were not interested in it. Yes, I have footed the expense of trying to get others to shoot.

Family guy. I never said I have never attended my State shoots. Things prevent me from attending each and every one. I missed both my AZ and CO State and the Autumn and Spring Grand shoots this year, due to health reasons, both mine and in my family. Of course if you still think I am lying, you can easily show it with those past posts can't you. BTW, don't you see how stupid it makes you when you say you did not boycott Sparta because you had "better places to shoot" but try to disqualify me from the debate for not attending any big shoots because of my health issues?

Search your old posts....not here. Long ago. You would not drive across the state because it was too far. On the wrong side of the mountain range. Your implication that had your state shoot been located closer you would attend. Your staying away did not cause them to move the shoot.

As per your attacking PA and OH for their lack of leadership I must remind you of some history. Before Sparta opened Cardinal Center was throwing registered targets. Not just because of Jack but because of the leadership within the surrounding areas. I must also remind you that PA leadership is what created all those PA shooters and their great venue. The same can be said for the surrounding states. We have 8 huge shoots within a half day's drive. Great venues such as NY, PA, OH, WV, MD. We don't have to call any of them satellites. We have our own leadership.

OH and PA are not responsible for the EC fouls ups.

Also you may wish to note that only about 1 of 6 shooters in OH and PA even shoot registered.

Tell us about you state's successful marketing of the sport of trapshooting. I am assuming you are the leader in Colorado.

 

If I did indeed say that, it was a joke, with reference to you having too far of a drive across flat land to Sparta. My mistake if you are that dense, but I forget there really are people like you are pretending to be.......at least I hope you are pretending. I would still like you to produce the post, as you are making the claim.

I don't get where you say I am attacking OH-PA shooters, other than you, Ollieoleodog and WPT. I still think you are one person pretending to be three. No three people could be suffering like that.

Anyway, I am dead serious that with you having written off and buried Sparta, this is your chance to bring back ATA, if you still want it, but some posters, you included sound like you have no further use for ATA. If that is true, I don't get the constant venom still being slung as it would seem to me, moving on would be the best recourse. Seems more than half the threads on this forum are discourse aimed at the ATA.

No in the interest of accuracy Sparta was not part of the conversation. Nor was I. Your statement can stand by itself.

You are 10 years late to the party AZCO. OH has 4 huge shoots. PA about the same. Both states have world class facilities. WV, NY, and MD the same. You keep ignoring that only 1 of 6 in those states shoots registered targets.

Your state lead by you, or boycotted by you and your leadership cant say that.

No one in OH, PA or any of the other states are responsible for bringing back the ATA. Both states are outvoted by Rhode Island and Mississippi both of which cant find 25 shooters for a handicap event..

The SCTP Collegiate Championships will be held at the CC shortly. Not a registered event. I will take pictures. Take some photos at your state grounds this week.

You should care, because you are being mislead by Family Guy. He is repeating another post by some other loser named "langer" who claimed I made this statement and another saying I own an outdoor sporting business, neither which is true nor can such statements be found on this forum or any other.

Just do a search of my posts and reference the post made. Simple enough, unless you are simple.
