Why is it that more American trap shooters don't shoot the high end Beretta DT-11? I thought it was because maybe they don't make a 34"/32" combo but now I see they do. Beretta is very popular with the international/Olympic trap competitors.

I have had the 34/32 Trap combo for 10 years now and will shoot it till I stop shooting. There are deals to be had, just have to keep looking.

Crowded market at that price point. Most shooters will chose a used Kolar, Krieghoff, or Perazzi before they'll chose a new DT11.

Beretta marketing of the DT11 doesn't target the trap shooters but rather sporting/fitasc/skeet shooters more

It appears to me, and I may be wrong, that the used DT-10/11s are fairly low compared to their new price. I think that means its a good value, used. Support won't be an issue with Cole Gunsmithing taking care of Berettas.

From a different POV, I'd say American trap shooters has brand loyalty or brand preference. Brand like Krieghoff or Perazzi comes before Berreta in terms of preferability. Also the marketing of the DT-11 is more inclined towards international/Olympic trap shooters.
