Would like to see pictures of bottom & top of receiver. What pattern number is the engraving. Thanks Sgoose
Sgoose, thank you for your interest. As mentioned it is not a Winchester pattern, rather a Hartliep original. I am off to a shoot today, will post more pictures later in the day.
Neil Hartliep was a well known master engraver. I have a model 12 with his engraving, very Detailed work
Thank you all for your posts!! (Pasquale) Regarding Neil Hartliep, yes he was indeed a master. You may know, but for reference, he even completed a book on engraving for the NRA (see the first picture attached on this post). Pricey now if you can find one. (Sgoose) Here are some additional pictures I took and have right now. Please note I purposely avoided the front bottom of the receiver to not show the s/n, condition-wise it is the same as anywhere else on the gun (i.e. beautiful). Please let me know if you'd like to see anything else.
Thanks for geting the new pictures. Still weighing my my opinion have a grade 5 gold that I am also looking at. Sgoose
You’re welcome Sgoose! Please let me know if I can provide anything else. This one is truly a one of a kind work of art. Thank you for your consideration!!

I'll be honest. I've always found Model 12s to be aesthetically unpleaseant to look at. Kind of like a pale fat kid with zits and a really bad haircut, who is also picking his nose. And yet... EVEN I WOULD LOVE TO OWN THIS PARTICULAR GORGEOUS MODEL 12!!! Roy
Well always good to be honest Roy! And yes, this particular and unique Model 12 can be yours, just let me know!! Thank you for looking!!!
any idea what mfg the rib is? I see 2 pins and a duckbill. maybe simmons? yet, I don't see simmons i.d. on the left side of the rib. is the top of the rib lined or knurled?
bobski I was told it is original Winchester (a mill back rib version). Regarding the top it is knurled (a wavy line pattern). Thank you for your interest, please let me know if you have any other questions.
Sorry guys, busy days... Bobski, No I have not shot this one, so sorry I can not advise on the pattern/ position. Just my hunch would be more 60/40 than 70/30. Anthony, Thank you on both accounts. Likewise Merry Christmas!

Thank You bobski!! Sounds like a plan, I'm just waiting for your card with the check...lol right back
