Has anyone shot both and can give a comparison on gun fit and balance. They look very similar in geometry but I have no experience with a Krieghoff.

I have shot them both and to me two completely different guns. The kolar is heavier and feels more substanctial in your hands . Swings smoother in my opinion. The kx6 special kicked the snot out of me. I have no idea why I felt that it fit me. Pitch? The kolar is the lightest recoiling break open single I have ever shot. I shoot a kolar ts now. Hope it helps.

    Dakota2,
Thanks for the input. I have shot a TS, but not the KX6 special. I also noticed the lack of recoil and smooth swing of the TS.

I have owned both models in the past, and liked the recoil/smoother swing on the Kolar TS. Plus, I liked the lower rib on the TS. Did not like the rollover comb on either model. Felt like I could not get consistent cheek placement on a rollover comb. Just my 2 cents worth.

I did not know the Kolar TS had a roll over comb. It was a good fit for me. I got to shoot a Krieghoff K80 max trap on Saturday and a Kolar over under 32" as well as the TS. It was a good day. I must say the Krieghoff felt as good as the TS, but I think that high of a rib was a little to high for me. I was looking at the stock of the TS that fits me and it is a type 4. There are a few differences in the geometry of the TS type 4 and standard KX6 special. I cant quite figure out the heel numbers TS states 3-1/4" and KX6 is 1/4". That doesn't make sense to me. Can anybody explain?
