Perazzi type 4, trap competition over/under 31.5" barrels, bottom barrel has a Perazzi choke tube Mod, top barrel.32 fixed, wide step up trap rib, complete set of sub gauge skeet tubes with interchangeable chokes, the tubes are 25" long by design and were fitted to this barrel. The 25" tubes preform very well these shorter tubes cut down on the muzzle weight but don't effect the pattern, a comparable set of sub gauge tubes are over $2000.00. Barrel and tubes $2850.00 Plus $35.00 Joe
Serial number of the barrel and what choke come with it. h How much for just the barrel. Thanks Bruce
Weight 18.4 - never paid attention to the step up rib on the barrel, I've owned a number of Perazzis have a Mirage with a thinner rib but the step up looks the same is it marked on the barrel ? Never too old to learn. I've always been more concerned with the height of the comb in relationship to the rib. Going to the club right now, turkey shoot and members day. Post more pictures later. Joe
Question was ask - who the porting . I Seitz did the porting, forcing cones. Unable to read the weight - barrel taper 11mm to 7mm not sure if the step is 4mm or more.
I can't separate the small gauge tubes from this barrel because they were fitted to these barrels by Briley after Seitz did the barrel work. I've tried to put them into 3 different 18.4 Perazzi barrels and they won't fit. Reduced to $2500.00 shipped. Joescout
The barrels are over bored at .738 stock bores were around .725 - the fitted barrels are for the larger bore.
As long as these are type four barrels and will fit to type four iron, this is a great deal. $2500.00 includes the fitted sub gauge tubes with chokes. This is not a carrier barrel. A real shootable barrel. The professional back boring will have reduced enough weight so that when the sub gauge tubes are installed, it will offset their additional weight bringing the overall handling of the barrels, with tubes, close to original weight when it was 18,4(.725). Think about it. You are getting 5000.00 worth of hardware for 2500.00 bucks. I should get a commission on this one Joe.
Thanks Mr.Veta, for your comments on my barrel, coming from one of the very best posters on American Trapshooters and only to be exceeded by your shooting skills that was very kind of you. See the difference in length between the shorter Kolar tubes 25" that are fitted to the Perazzi barrel and a 32" Kolar tube for a Browning. Sometimes folks are skeptical when the price seems less than the value of the product this is understandable so I'm going to make the price optional, so any potential buyer can choose their own price between $2500.00 and $5000.00. The tubes are actually Kolar see the shorter tube in the picture that's the length of the tubes that goes with the barrel the longer Kolar tube is 32" from a Browning. I had the gun and barrel for years never shot he gun with the tubes- I have guns in all the small gauges.
