WTB San Remo or K80 R & I found

Looking for San Remo or K80 receiver and iron, pull/pull. Would consider complete guns if it’s a sporting set up with #3/7 RH wood.

Currently I have several receivers set up with pull parts that come with release parts.

I also have a blued super scroll receiver and iron that is in mint shape as it was freshly blued at Krieghoff International and an annual was completed at the same time.

Good looking Monarch..I’m not a fan of the broken target top latch but it certainly looks good on this receiver. Nice

 

it’s the nitride finish plus this is a deep engraved one . Rarely see these as the top latch is special order at $3900

That’s not at all what my ad says. Says K80 receivers as well or complete guns, jus not logo receiver.

 

That’s not a Monarch Gene has it’s a Gold Target. Monarchs don’t have the broken target top latch.

 

The receiver Gene has shown is a Monarch. Gene has added upgrades to the the receiver as shown, the broken target top latch.

 

Dave thanks. Actually I purchased it like it is except I had it nitrided and it had barrels with it. As I look at photos on a Krieghoff site this looks exactly like that Monarch except it has a gold target top latch and the engraving appears much deeper on mine than that picture.

High grade hand engraved guns even with the same general pattern can vary highly . A gold plantation for example looks like hen scratched compared to this.
Having said all of that I remember seeing a picture of the same general engraving pattern as mine a well known dealer sold a used receiver and forearm iron he called a “gold target” for 29K and it also looks like mine .

If you look at my top latch you see deep floral and scroll engraving ,,, much deeper , with floral work than Krieghoff shows for an engraved Gold Target top latch Such a top latch would be a special order item.

 

Gene, I did notice how deep the engraving on your Monarch. Nice gun.
