News from 8 Sisters Bakery - - - Cardinal Center

    From Emma Lister (below)

The Sister's and company will be premiering Emma's recipe of Amish Chili at the SCTP Collegiate Championships. It is her family recipe Emma learned during her Amish days.

The Sister's (below) are not very Amish these days.

They are known for their bakery and run Fishburn Concessions at the CC. Emma said they will have the usual pastries and some fall special items. She said they will also have the barbecue grill cooking.

Of course I will be reporting live from the food pavilion. Lots of pictures!

Amish Chili? I know what is used in beef chili.

I saw a sign once that said "Amish Eggs". This is very confusing.

Their Maple Lunch sticks are great, they feel like they weigh about a pound. I ate one everyday when I was there, sometimes two. Brad

I may not be the brightest bulb in the box, but I have counted them (picture) many times and unless 3 of them are with child, I keep coming up with 5 according to that picture ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
