Ramped, tapered, concave, cross-filed rib.

Mint barrel, 34", fixed choke.

Somebody knew what they were doing when they worked this barrel.

3" chamber, .743 backbore, choked 28 thou, Pro-port, 98% blue.

What is a concave cross filed rib

 

In my opinion, the best rib Perazzi made.....it was also used on the MX8 Special.......means just what it says.....it is concave, as opposed to the current flat, cross filed rib. The rib is "dished" and is filed across only. They made it with a step also. When you see one, you'll want one. They are really nice, and too expensive to make today.

They made it with a step rib also....this one is not.

I have an MX8 Special 34/32 combo with the P-4 trigger I do like the steped rib like is on mine just have to learn to shoot it a little better
at 76 time is a wasting
