The Hall of Fame should be renamed the Martin / Bradford Hall of Fame, in memory of the Martins that donated and moved to the head of the line, and to note Bradford having the opportunity to vote himself in. jmho

Go to the web site and see who the Trustees are now.

Most all are ATA people who MR. Bradford wanted to take over in the first place.

They may as well now, the ATA members paid for the ILLINOIS OWNED place anyway.

Even that Fantastic Direction Gipson guy is in there also. DAH, anyone wonder why ?

Maybe the ATA staff will man the place, and keep it open for more than 3 weeks a year.

Tami Daniel was there in Vandalia to greet people with a cheerful smile all the time, all year long.

Stopping by from NY was a treat back then. Now it's just a fond memory

Now if you don't go during the Grand weeks in Sparta, I guess you are Crap out of luck ! THOF entrance.jpg THOF (1).jpg

I would have to disagree with you. If they paid for it. They might own it. Wrong choice of words. The Hall of Fame building in Illinois is owned by Illinois. It is on state land. It is not owned by the members. You could argue that Bradford's dream cost the ATA plenty. The members just don't own it.

    Sorry FG

What I meant was that the members partially paid for the STATE OWNED BUILDING and land that the THOF is in.

Sorry for the misunderstanding of the ILLINOIS OWNED place.
