headduck, The zone shoots are a source of revenue for small clubs. The CC does not need the zone shoots. To much has already been done to strangle the small clubs, they are the life line for registered shooting. Do not harm them more. Roger C.

Not no --- HELL NO! With the thing called the grand comes the same people that are still in position in the ATA that were/are members of the 2012PULL gang. Keep 'em in Illinois. Perfect.

    rookie you are killing me.

Have to agree with Roger, the smaller clubs can use the money generated. As well as the Zone shoot is usually closer to your hometown, and it is like shooting in a tournament with your your friends.

The Ohio zone shoots have outlived there usefulness. In the 70's each zone had several clubs with 10 or more traps, today some have none. If you are going to have zone shoots hold them at the CC all at once on the same weekend and split some money with all clubs that shoot registered targets by the number of targets they throw, exclude the CC from this. Then truly every small club can share the pie, and it will be a hell of a lot bigger pie than they get on a 4 trap split zone shoot. Brad

The state should supply the targets for the shoot. Then the money can be divided between the clubs in the respective zones. Each zone gets the money from the shooters from their zone. I'll bet you will have clubs in every zone registering then. Roger C.
