What is it like so far at Cardinal?

Good so far. Shot singles in the rain this morning, and dry for handicap. I had to leave before doubles but it looked to remain dry. For singles on bank 4 we stood in a bit of water on a few posts for two of the houses, handicap on bank 5 had some water around the 16 on a few, but good to go from handicap yardage. Waterproof footwear of some sort is recommended as the ground is plenty soft all over the place.

With all of the rain that we've had in Ohio the last few weeks, CC is having trouble with drainage on some of the traps. They're trying to deal with it, but its hard to stay ahead of all the moisture.

Footwear that you don't need socks with are not a bad idea, crocs or something along those lines. Wet socks are the enemy.

Hard to fight mother nature for sure.

But on the other hand, if it can be done, CC will do their best.

Hopefully the weather cooperates and the trend continues.

Great day Friday. Shot the Hdcp. with a squad of older guys that was more my speed.
    Background is now great.
Wind was a bit tricky changing directions and speed. Some targets seem to float for a short time.
    Great shoot.

    Regards....Gerald

Attendance is still up overall despite the rain on Thursday pulling some numbers down:

Can I brag a little? That was my son that won that Kubota Saturday night.

Another great state shoot. Ryan struggled with handicaps all week until when it really mattered. Fate was on his side when everybody in third round missed one target to keep it going, and then that barely visible chip on his last shot to win it. Came close on many occasions before but this was his year I guess.

CONGRATS RYAN Way to hang tough.

A little advice. When your Dad asks if he can drive it, let him.

That’s exactly what we’ve been saying. I really don’t think that chip would have been visible without that curtain.

Can anyone answer IF they threw ALL orange or the NY style targets ??

I have been hearing it both ways.

Just curious because of the different guys chattering about it.

Bill Murray.png Glad you guys got that straightened out. Not that it matters now but Phil Murray said they were orange tops.
