I have 2 stocks for it both have a little cast and both have about 3/4" toe out. The stock not shown in off my fixed rib Bowen and will need longer comb pins to work on the adjustable rib. Only one stock goes with the gun, should have pics of the other stock in a day or two.
Correction on the barrel length, it is a 35" with .036 choke, the barrel itself weighs 3lb's 12oz same as the 34" fixed rib barrel. The other stock also has a RAD recoil system.
I am in Washington but headed to Tucson the end of next week with the gun and will be there at the gun club for next few months.
Not sure about half the price but it is a quality gun. I got it in trade with another gun, I shot it once from the 27 yard line and killed 25. I shot it on pattern board and it is good and tight (90% plus in the ring 30 inch at 35 yards) Bored mic'd at .036 choke. I took the guts out of the reciever a couple days ago and totally cleaned it. Very little wear. I shoot a Bowen fixed rib otherwise I would keep this one. Best triggers you can find, but I will give credit to Silver Seitz, they are very good. To each their own, this is one of the best 'single' shotgun ever made.
New 39th.Edition on Blue Book has "NEW" BOWEN with adj. rib at-----$13,500.00 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------fixed rib at-----$16,500.00 Don't know why the big difference ?? Barrel might be more stable ?? Tell me. Either way they are a 'Hell-of-a Gun" !!!!
